Bruce Coleman was thorough and excellent in presenting the wonder of life and the way a baby’s inmost being is created and knit together in their mother’s womb.

I was impressed with the way that Bruce was entirely positive in advocating the value of God of the unborn life. I thought that the ultrasound video was a great way of showing a baby’s personality even in the middle of pregnancy.

On behalf of the school I would like to thank you for your contribution to our “Crossroads” course. The students were very receptive and voted it as one of the most thought provoking sessions. Useful information was provided that could help students make infomed decisions.

Bruce Coleman, from “Choices of Life” came to our high school to give the Senior Students, Years 11 and 12, their first SRE seminar for the year. It is a public school with a wide variety of spiritual beliefs amongst the students and the staff. I am an SRE teacher/co-ordinator within the school and my aim in the school is to present the gospel message simply and clearly to those students who come to SRE and to build bridges with and show the love of God to any student or teacher I come into contact with. I attempt to maintain my integrity and not compromise my belief system while not showing disrespect to others who might not agree with me.

I was very pleased both with how Bruce spoke and the material he presented. The whole presentation was very professional and focused on the positive wonder of life. I was pleased that abortion per se wasn’t the focus of this presentation….instead the miracle of how a baby is formed and grows was the focus. There were some students who found this concept quite challenging and even offensive but Bruce was very clear that what he was presenting was biology and not just opinion.

One of the teachers present commented that the material presented was presented well in a sensitive manner. It is my hope and prayer that the content of the seminar will stay with the young people for two main reasons….that the young people might see themselves as amazing wonderful creations that God planned and for whom God has a good purpose..no-one is an accident..and that out of this understanding they might have a sense of awe and wonder for all life…whether a baby in the womb or an elderly person about to leave this earthly life….and every stage in between.

I pray the Lord’s blessing upon Bruce and this ministry. Thank you Bruce

I thought the presentation had an appropriate focus for the audience. I think if it were done at a private Christian school the presentation would be much different. I thought it was great that the presentation proved to kids that they were indeed each individually valuable and created by God as unique entities, even before birth. You gave some scientific facts that couldn’t be negotiated in way that also allowed the kids to consider that God has a plan for them and had a plan for each of their lives when still in the womb.

When working with a non-Christian group of high schoolers in a publically controlled school environment, I think the best approach is to let the kids know they are loved and cared for by God, created with a purpose. The kids don’t want to be told what to do–they won’t listen. Rather, tell them that God loves them and cares about them and then they will listen to advice. Thank you for working with us and being clear with the kids about not only the value of life, but the value of each of their individual lives created by a loving and personal God.
