Brief  Comments from a number of schools

  • Well presented and pitched at the right level without being ‘preachy’
  • The presentation was more about choices and consequences which is the correct approach for students
  • Very appropriate for Year 12 boys! Informative, direct, challenging, accurate and clear. They were given much ‘food for thought’.
  • The presentation was challenging for the Year 12 girls, and very informative. The students found it valuable.
  • Very clearly presented based on facts and evidence
  • Excellent, fast moving, kept audience attention. Factual. Students went from unsettled to quiet and attentive as the presentation unfolded. Visual aids were excellent, attention grabbing and maintained their interest. Common sense approach worked well.

Observations of teachers:

  • I am amazed that the students in Year 9 remembered so much from their year 6 presentation – that was 3 years ago!
  • My own girls have all been through the program – Year 6, Year 9 and Year 11 – and they are firmly pro-life. You have given them a wonderful foundation.

Our Year 12 students were most impressed with Mr Bruce Coleman’s presentation on abortion. The talk was informative and presented the facts and statistics in regards to abortion in Australia. The students were to then form their own views and opinionson the topic. The presentation is excellent for Studies of religion I and II students studying bioethical issues and also for Catholic Studies students studying morals and ethics. For Stage 4 Religion Mr Bruce Coleman can provide a presentation which fits in well with the creation topic showing students the wonder of human conception and growth during the gestation period.
