  • I was impressed with the “Choices of Life” presentation. The students were kept captivated by the excellent visual aids, models and Bruce’s passionate delivery of the content. It teaches that life truly is a miracle and that we are created beings, made by an awesome God. My primary students re-entered the classroom talking about the wonder and value of life. It truly leaves you in awe of our Creator.
  • Bruce’s desire to give the students an appreciation of the value of human life from the moment of conception is a God-given mandate. The students were amazed at how quickly life develops inside the womb and the nature of Bruce’s presentation kept them enthusiastically involved. Watching slides, asking and answering questions, they left feeling positive about the wonder of God’s creation.

Choices of Life is a program that challenges students to consider and marvel at the beginnings of human life. The interactive presentation by Bruce Coleman engaged the students and he affirmed each child as they contributed to the discussion while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the information. My Grade 4/5 students discovered facts about the beginning of human life that will provide them with the right information to make good choices later on.

I would highly recommend this program for all students as a valuable stand-alone presentation in its own right or as a starting point for further work.

Brief Comments from a two schools

  • Very good every year. A worthwhile presentation which fits into our current HSIE/science unit very well. It builds on what they have been learning. Thank you for bringing God into the ’story’.
  • A great presentation. I really enjoyed it – very informative and entertaining – kept the children and me engaged. Students had lots of questions and were very interested in the different aspects of birth, conception, etc.

An amazing presentation that glorifies God throughout the whole session. It was wonderful to see visual representations of each stage of development.

I am writing to convey my appreciation of your visit to our year 6 students. The content and delivery was very well suited and the students were captivated by what they learnt.

Most students left with a much higher respect for human life as well as a greater understanding of human development pre-birth.

We hope to be able to have you speak to our students again next year.

Thank you so much for your Interactive School Presentation on the Beginnings of Human Life.  Our students were very engaged and found it to be both interesting and informative.  The information was presented in a very clear, non-threatening way and this encouraged genuine response from our students.  I warmly recommend this presentation to all Upper Primary and Secondary students.

Thank you for presenting to our students. The feedback I have had is very positive and supported the curriculum that we undertake in our senior Primary “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made” unit, as well as the “No Apologies” course which we undertake with our year 9 students.

I wish to commend the “Choices of Life” program that I have personally seen operate very successfully in our school over a number of years. The Primary students who have participated in the presentations have been overwhelmingly positively impacted by the message of the preciousness of life and the wonder of the development of the baby in the womb, and the process by which the child grows from conception to birth.
